Bob & Denise (and family)
Reaching our mid 40’s, my wife and I finally decided to make the commitment to improve our health and fitness. We have sedentary jobs, get very little exercise, and knew we needed specialists to guide, motivate, and encourage us. It was also very important that our trainers were not just a couple of iron-pumpers, but were educated and certified in their fields. I can easily say the both Chad and Brenden have not only met, but have exceeded our expectations!
Starting with our assessments on that first visit, both Chad & Brenden have been very professional and much more than a Trainer for us – they have been our guides to a healthier & fit lifestyle. They have motivated us to push ourselves to our physical boundaries, encouraging and driving us to continually increase our limits of endurance and strength. Their knowledge of human physiology is extensive and allows for the development of a broad and diverse exercise program focusing on resistance, cardio, and circuit training to provide an “all encompassing” exercise experience.
In addition, they provided my wife and I with a balanced & healthy meal program which coupled with our regular training sessions has allowed us to lose a combined 87 pounds in 6 months! Our two teenage children were so impressed with our results that they signed up to train as well! Our whole family now trains together and is thrilled with our results. We owe our successes to Chad & Brenden’s skills, knowledge, and approach of driving ourselves to push to our limits in a non-aggressive manner (and with a touch of humor!).

At the age of 43, I found myself overweight, lethargic and in the embarrasing position of being asked to play in an amateur sports league in Scottsdale, for a sport that I used to play at a state level in my early to mid 20s (cricket). But in the 20 or so years that had passed from my athletic self to my sedintary self, I came face to face with just how unfit I had become. I was, for lack of a better term, a physical train-wreck. Those 20 years had not only included moving from my native Australia to the USA to live, but dealing with the life-long injuries of a major car accident from the mid 1990s, that left me with a shattered shoulder and knee injury. The combination of all of these factors had turned a once athletic sportsman into a someone who was 75 pounds overweight and had the athletic abilities of the average garden snail.
But I knew, from my background in sport, of the importance of a trainer. Without coaches we could never perform to the level we had to. And that choosing the right trainers was going to make or break me. I knew that it wasn't going to be easy for both me and my trainers. I had a lot of hurdles to overcome, and my trainers would be challenged by trying to not only guide me towards fitness but deal with my injuries.
None of this phased the guys at Hublife Fitness. Brenden took up the challenge and although I'm still on the road to performance, I have shed 45 pounds in weight, and even with my injuries I run 3 miles, 4-5 times a week. I even joined a local runners club and will compete in fun runs all over the country. My stength has improved, particularly upper body strength, and the result is that I can now contribute on the playing field with my cricket team.
It takes a certain type of trainer to be successful with someone like me, and I can honestly say that Brenden and the gang at Hublife Fitness have transformed me back to someone who can feel more in control of my own life. I strongly recommend these guys if you are looking for a team that can step up to a challenge and are true professionals in the business of fitness and health.

I was never one to listen when people would say "you are what you eat", or "it will catch up to you". I always just thought to myself that it wouldn't happen to me. At the age of 22 I had gained roughly 12 pounds weighing me in at 137. To some that may seem like its a lot, but to me at 5'4 and having a very petite frame it seemed like it. I realized shortly after moving to Arizona and finding out summer starts earlier here that I needed to do something. I needed to do something for 2 reasons; 1) to feel good about myself inside and out, and 2) to set the foundation for my health and what my body will look like as I grow older.
At the time I knew I needed someone to help me with my goals because I absolutely hate working out. I needed someone who wasn't just going to make me workout like a body builder. The guys at Hublife Fitness were exactly what I needed. Chad not only listened to what my goals were, but has made this experience awesome. With Chad's help I've lost 10 pounds and looking to lose about 5 more and possibly doing a figure competition. Chad not only pushes me beyond what I feel I can do, but makes it so much fun with his sense of humor. I enjoy the fact that my trainer will motivate me when I'm about to give up by actually getting on the ground to do push ups or sit ups with me. I recommend Chad and Brenden at Hublife Fitness if you want a great trainer that will push you farther while making it fun.
